Level 1 Interchange Raiding Guide

お日よラキ~

Hows everyone been doing in the New World? I hope loot has been plentiful and the hunt especially good~

In today's issue, we'll be bring you on a tour of The Second Raid! Interchange! Have you tried out the first one? Spotlight is still waiting for everyone to pile in~ So lets get on with the Issue~!

Fumoffu~!

This guide is brought to you by Yakisoba. Royalist of Cervantes Server.

1) Introduction to Interchange]

The Interchange Dungeon is an instanced Dungeon for up to 8 players. Coming in several different levels of difficulty, the aim of this RAID is to defend your colony against the onslaught of Generic Mobs, Elite Units and the Dreaded Bosses while attacking and destroying the enemy colonies at the same time. The scope of this spotlight will only cover Interchange 1.

This RAID item is commonly found around the Dungeons of Porta Bello, it is rarely found outside of this dungeon. It can also be considered a 'common rare' item like other RAID items.

2) Level consideration and Classes
Interchange should ideally be undertaken by a group of eight families in the level range of 45 and above. With fewer numbers the average level should be closer to 50.

Fighter:
The trustworthy fighter, always at the forefront, defending the lightly armoured damage dealers. A fighter is highly advised for Raiding parties with a lower average level. A 3-4 fighters is advised due to the more pressing need to deal damage quickly to the mobs. The fighters should ideally be in a defensive stance to tank.

Musketeer:
High-powered single opponent snipers, the rifle stance is very recommended for this RAID. Dual Pistol Musketeers at this level should be able to bring their max RIP into this battle. With this, DP Musketeers are finally able to contribute considerable to damage dealing. The blocking abilities of the Pollux and bosses however, means that they can and will block all 20 shots.

Kneeling shot is suicidal. This especially so due to the need to attack.

Scout:
Running through enemy lines and back to bring adventurers from the brink of death, the scout is essential to the longterm wellbeing of any family. All families should bring in one scout dedicated each as per normal tactics. Knife-wielding scouts will find their damage curtailed by the high defences of the boss mobs.

Wizards:
Masters of the arcane, the most useful skills for the wizards are Earthquake and Apocalpyse. The wizards should try to get some distance between them and the mobs before casting so that they will not get mobbed.

Elementalist
Elemental damage dealers will have a field day as they will be dealing large amounts of damage to the mobs. Blizzard Elementalist will be highly sought after with its constant damage dealing. Blizzard Stance users should spam their Frost Cloud or Deluge. This is by far the best stance for Elementalist.

Lighting users should stay away from possesion and utilise Chain Lighting instead or Thunderstorm if it is available. Enchanted arms is recommended for its increase in damage dealing.

Fire Users will have some difficulty in the RAID but should be able to hold their own. Utilise Meteor in between the waves before getting swamped to hold them off.

3) Walkthrough

Yakisoba conducted a Guild RAID event to commemorate the swearing in of our new recruits, Lockhearte and SEVEN. A round of applause to the latest members of our family!

Like Spotlight, clicking on the item will activate the RAID dungeon.

A Portal will spawn and all RAID member should then enter it. Entering will bring you to the Lobby as in the Screenshot.

Note:
Only one is required. Don't waste those RAID Dungeons.

All combatants will spawn at the center position. Note the red circles. These indicate the locations of the enemy colonies. Seek them out while defeating the Mobs that spawn and attack your colony.

In addition to the mobs, the walkways are lined with tower turrets. Heres is a screenshot of their statistics and an image. Take them out if you can. With bosses attacking you, their cumulative damage can kill.

In addition to old favourites from Spotlight, the lineup now includes the Pollux Boss of Tetra Dungeons, and Sacrum, another big ass demon.

The last boss is within that screenshot but with the number of boss mobs, we were getting pushed back until we were reinforced by our RAID Officers.

Note the red glow near the Menu bar. That is the enemy colony.

The RAID will end once all colonies have been destroyed. 8 Treasure Chest will then spawn while all family members will be returned to the colony.
Each Family can only open one, as per the norm.

Prizes include Rings, equipment and other high end potions... like 10 soul fillers... seriously... wtf... orz...

IMPORTANT
Note that just defending will lead to a defeat.

4) Common Problems with the RAID
i) It goes without saying but the families should squad up before they enter the RAID. It IS entirely possible and you don't want to be left hanging with 2/3s of your family down.

ii) Item Distribution This will be a major sticking point between families meeting for the first time but do not fear, there is a good solution.

In squadding up, select 'acquisition in order'. All families will take turns to get loot, no matter who picks them up. The sorting can be done after the raiding is over and loot fully accounted for.

iii) Families may complain of a lesser amount of loot in this dungeon. High lvl equipment is obtained relative to the number of boss mobs killed. The more bosses you kill, the more equipment you receive. Furthermore there are now 8 families, the acquisition rate will definitely be slower.
This concludes the guide to Interchage RAIDing~ Give it your all in the New World!
